Living longer, in poor health?

An article on ABCnews.com had some disturbing news today. They cited a new study released by JAMA, the Journal of the American Medical Association, that says that baby boomers in the United States are living longer, but they’re not healthier. The study authors stated that boomers “…have higher rates of chronic disease, more disability, and lower self-rated health than members of the previous generation at the same age.”

Poor diet and lack of exercise may be leading people down this path, not only in the U.S., but across the globe.

At Nutrilite we’ve learned that a plant-based diet rich in whole fruits and vegetables along with regular exercise can help with prevention. And if you have trouble consuming the recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables from food alone, then supplementation is important to fill those dietary gaps.

We want people living longer, in good health, being the best they can be.  At Nutrilite that’s something we call Optimal Health, and it’s within everyones’ reach.
