Fashion and makeup are taking a decidedly futuristic and architectural turn in the fall/winter collection of designer Pamella Roland and looks by Artistry™ Global Makeup Artist Rick DiCecca.
Modern Japanese architecture inspired Roland’s collection at New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2016, and DiCecca’s runway makeup designs followed suit.
“Our clothes are very futuristic looking, like a lot of the buildings are in Tokyo,” Roland says. “The makeup is very straight-line, no curves.”
Roland calls her color picks for the season true fall colors: navies, blacks and whites, plus slate and ruby. DiCecca created dramatic makeup looks for Roland’s runway show using Artistry™ cosmetics.
“Makeup is a fun way to be creative,” Roland says. “People want to be entertained. Makeup can be entertaining.”
